Pastor João Carlos Rocha, PhD, is the Senior Pastor and Founder of ICC Atlanta Church, a visionary leader, educator, church planter, and missionary with a deep commitment to the Kingdom of God. With a strong academic background in theology, pastoral counseling, transcultural communication, and education, he has dedicated his life to forming disciples, equipping leaders, strengthening churches, and serving communities through the transforming message of Jesus Christ.
As the founding president of ICC Atlanta Church, Pastor João Carlos has helped lead a multicultural congregation in Marietta, Georgia, with a heart for Atlanta, the United States, and the nations. His ministry reflects a passion for biblical teaching, spiritual formation, missions, and the multiplication of leaders who will carry the Gospel faithfully into their own communities and beyond.
Beyond his pastoral leadership at ICC Atlanta, Pastor João Carlos is also the founder and president of AMID World Mission and AMID Churches Network. Through this missionary vision, he continues to inspire churches and believers to participate in God’s redemptive work by praying, sending, going, serving, and making disciples among the nations.
His life and ministry are marked by a clear calling: to see lives transformed by Christ, communities strengthened by the Gospel, and churches mobilized for the mission of God.
